this is MY city.

no duh.

Why helloooooo Norwegian athletes. I will definitely be looking for the rest of your team.

Yeaaaaa, I got to hold the torch. No big deal..........

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

After walking around downtown today and seeing everything that's been done to the city, I can honestly say that I am so proud to be a Canadian. But more importantly, I am so proud to be a Vancouverite. A few months ago I wasn't complete supportive of the Olympics because I knew the city would be uber busy, and it would be impossible to get anywhere. But today really opened my eyes. I can't wait to continue exploring all the sites for the next 2 weeks. The best part about today, though, was the fact that I got on TV for the first time in my life. I am so proud of myself.

More photos will be uploaded soon!

Aww you're adorable! I agree, there's something about being the host city that makes you kind of proud. Not that the city I live in has every had that moment...

My Aunt lives in Vancouver too, and it sounds like it's just a constant PARTAYYY.

I hope you're having loads of fun. And GO CANADAAAAAAA! I love this country. (Even though I'm no hardcore Olympic follower...)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
