I unfortunately have to keep this short because I still need to pack for my annual trip to Whistler! So as you can see from the pictures, I went to my first AC/DC concert!!!! And lemme tell you it was a night I will never forget. So a few months ago my dad surprised me with tickets, and it never hit me that I would be seeing Angus, Brian, Cliff, Malcolm, and Phil live on stage until I was at the concert last night. The Answer was their opening act, and they were pretty good, but when the lights went out, and the train rolled onto the stage, the crowd just went INSANE! The first song of the night was of course Rock N Roll Train. And it was very intense. The rest of the list included Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, For Those About to Rock, you know what I mean. And they came out with two encores. Only two? you might ask, well yes, but what do you expect from a bunch of rockers from the 70s who put on a 2 hour show, straight?! And there were even fireworks! I loved it, and I am so glad I was able to experience AC/DC live before they retire for good.

Haven't blogged in a while. And it feels good to be back! I just haven't had much inspiration in a while and I've been busy enjoying summer. So today, I finally finished my skirt! I have to admit that I am totally in love with it. Hope you all feel the same way too.

Anyways, two days ago I finally watched all of "A Fish Called Wanda" and I loved it. If you have not seen it, go watch it! It's hilarious, definitely one of my favorite comedies.

So today I watched a bit of the movie "A Fish Called Wanda" and I gotta say that I liked it a lot. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline, and John Cleese. It's a comedy mostly about a jewel heist and the people involved in it. Anyways, I found it quite funny, but it's definitely not for kids. Next time it's on TV, I have to watch the full movie. And I've realized how good of an actor Kevin Kline can be, he totally deserved that Academy Award.

The King of Pop passed away at 2:26 pm today, and it was definitely a very tragic and surprising death. He influenced a lot of people's careers and inspired many to dance. His songs will continue to live on in people's cars, stereos, iPods and everywhere. Thanks for the music Michael, rest in peace.

new in town

a few days ago I dug up my denim jacket from a few years back. guess what? i now never leave my house without it! it's such a great accessory to have, just as long as you don't pair it up with more denim. and the sunglasses i bought because they remind me of the pair Audrey Hepburn wore in 'Tiffany's".

so I've been trying to get back on track with the Bacall & Bogie films that I've borrowed from the library, but other stuff always keeps coming up.

anyhow, I'm watching a biography on Jane Fonda so i guess that's all for today folks.

so because I have the best parents ever, I got to meet SELENA GOMEZ herself on Monday.

A few of my friends waited for 5 hours after school on Friday to meet her, and I didn't find out about it until Saturday! So I made a vow that I had to find her before she flew back to the States, I didn't even care about an autograph or photo, I just wanted to meet her and say something to her in person. Not really a lot to ask for, right?

So my friends and I decided we should go and try to find her. Unfortunately, I had a doctor's appointment at 3:30 and I woke up at 12pm! I ended up calling my friend and telling her that because we both woke up late, there was no point, and our other friends were busy.

Anywho, my mom said I could still go if I brought my lil sis with me too since she's the real Selena fan. So I said fine, as long as I get to go right? My dad wasn't all too happy about taking us since there was no guarantee that she would actually be there, but guess what? SHE WAS

I got there at like 6:33 (so specific, i know) and I missed her! She had already come out to take pics with fans and sign autographs so I just caught her walking on the other sidewalk. "HI SELENA" I yell, except I wasn't really that loud because for some reason I felt kinda weird yelling at her.......
Anyways, I was pretty disapointed because I couldnt even get a picture of her on the other sidewalk. But, lucky me, these two girl who'd been there before, talked to Selena's bodyguard for me and he said that she was coming out in 5 minutes because she was done filming for the day. So........she came out and I yelled "SELENA! CAN I HAVE A PICTURE?" And holy shizzles, she was sooooo nice! She came right over and took like 5 pictures with me and my sis. Oh, she also signed my magazine, the June/July issue of Teen Vogue because, ya know, she's on the cover.

So that was the highlight of my week. The first celebrity I've ever met in person. Apparently Zac Efron is coming in 1-2 weeks, so I am praying that I'll get a picture with that hotty. Hahah, and when the TWILIGHT cast comes back in August, I am for sure going to 'actually' look for them.
